Azitech has developed a range of sophisticated inspection machines for the solar cell manufacturing industry. These include systems for inspecting the printed patterns on both the front and back of the wafers as well as inspecting the anti-reflective coating and checking for micro-cracks. Through unique wafer illumination technology, Azitech systems are able to see very fine details on both mono-crystaline and poly-crystaline wafers.

The high-speed camera inspection systems are designed to be either integrated into the existing wafer printing machines or supplied as a stand alone unit. Azitech prides itself in being able to offer customised inspection solutions to its clients to allow optimal integration with the existing manufacturing equipment, thus allowing overall cost savings and improved efficiency due to less product handling. When the Azitech inspection system is built into the printing machines, a number of options are available to either recycle or reprint the wafer or to stop the printing machine. This results in less reject material being produced.

Stand alone inspection systems can be supplied in a variety of configurations including automatic unloading and loading of the wafers into pallets.
